Digital wiz TUNA DISPLAY lands on Soul Feeder with his brand-new EP, “VIOLENT GLARE”. Here the Italy-based producer explores the possibilities of approaching music-making not just as creative process, but first and foremost as a self-understanding practice. To share his experience with the listener, TUNA DISPLAY imagined the core elements of its productions as a stimuli to trigger an emotional response within the listener, and turned melodic and harmonic components into laser-like percussions. And while this approach might sound aseptic, none of the four tracks on the EP ever feels cold, as TUNA DISPLAY utmost desire is to use is music to establish an emotional connection, rather than observe a reaction.
